In a celebration befitting its 15th Raising Day on February 28, 2024, NTPC Solapur organized an enchanting program at the APJ Abdul Kalam Stadium. The highlight of the evening was the live performance by the renowned singer and national awardee, Ms. Sadhana Sargam, captivating the audience with her melodious tunes.

The event commenced with a ceremonial cake cutting by Shri Tapan Kumar Bandyopadhyay, CGM (Solapur), accompanied by Smt. Nupur Bandyopadhyay, President of Srijana Mahila Mandal, and esteemed senior members. HOP (Solapur) took the stage, acknowledging the station's remarkable journey and expressing gratitude to the dedicated employees who have been the driving force behind its success. Stressing on safety and environmental responsibility, he highlighted the organization's commitment towards sustainable practices.

Ms. Sadhana Sargam and her team took the audience on a nostalgic journey with their soul-stirring renditions of Bollywood classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, filling the air with nostalgia and joy. The event served as a platform for employees and their families to come together, tapping their feet to the rhythm of old melodies.

In the true spirit of camaraderie, a vibrant "Prabhat Pheri" was organized within the NTPC Solapur township, adding to the festive fervor. Leading up to the grand celebration, a series of events were held, including a Rural Sports Meet involving Project Affected Persons (PAP) villages, a Narakas Hindi Workshop, and the captivating cultural evening featuring the legendary singer Ms. Sadhana Sargam.
